Blackboard LMS Course Design (2021)

The University of Johannesburg has multiple campuses and faculties. We created a course template with all the necessary information for new students. Each of the 7 faculties could then adjust the template.

I was given all the content and videos and then reformatted them to best suit the course and LMS. I created all the necessary graphics (banners) and icons to match UJ's branding.

Video/Motion Graphics (2021)

Filtered asked for a walk-through video of one of their courses for an LMS website.  There are two versions for both their brands.

I was given the script and from there I did the screen recordings and added the motion graphics, intro, and outro as well as voiceover.

Blackboard LMS Course Design (2021)

Varsity College requested a Blackboard course that could be accessed via their Modo Labs app. We created a course template that was then replicated and adjusted for their nine campuses.

I created all the necessary graphics (banners) and icons to match their branding.

Adobe After Effects Animation (2021) 

The Invigilator App was created to close the gap in Covid-19 among low-income students and universities that couldn't afford expensive proctoring tools.

I was asked to create an animation as an explainer video for students. I wrote the script and we then combined animation with screen recordings to create a quick video overview for students.

Blackboard LMS Course Design (2018)

This was created for the University of Johannesburg and was similar to a MOOC as all the students were going to have to go through it. They saw the need for a course that could still be interactive but also informative for students without needing hundreds of facilitators to be present in real time. 

The course was simple in design and structure but still included multiple quizzes ensuring students engaged in the content. Everything had clear and step-by-step instructions to lower the need for support.

Blackboard LMS Question Creation (2013)

This was the first project I collaborated on. We were asked to create Accounting and Law questions that allowed the students to do the practice questions in each textbook module for Lexis Nexis in South Africa. The accounting questions forced us to problem solve with how to make Blackboard work for us, the Text Editor is much more user-friendly today.

Give Back Charity Video (2020)

iKusasalethu is an incredible organization run in the townships of Durban. I was asked to create a video reflecting the heart of the organization and showcasing them in action.

Website Videos (2019)

Canaan College was a client I worked with for multiple years on video projects. They are a cutting-edge school that is transforming education in a township called Umlazi, South Africa.

I was requested to create multiple videos introducing Canaan College for their website and social media.

Articulate Induction Course  (2019)

Eiffel Corp was growing fast and wanted to create a course that helped new employees catch their heart and vision. We created multiple short-form videos with current staff to embed into the Articulate Course.
